Round terms, revenue, and equity splits are the most sensitive numbers a company has. Here is how they are protected.
Verification before visibility
No account can swipe, match, or appear in decks until a reviewer has checked it — fund registration for investors, connected revenue sources for traction claims, identity for everyone. Evidence is reviewed, then discarded. Review takes 2–3 days.

Every sensitive field carries one of three visibility tiers — Everyone, Verified members, After match. The gate is applied on our servers before data leaves them: a client that shouldn’t see a number never receives it. Stealth mode and blocklists work the same way. Public directory pages show only what you gate as “Everyone.”
Encryption and infrastructure
TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest, with keys managed in a dedicated KMS. All data is stored in the EU. Access by our own staff is role-gated, logged, and reviewed; production data never leaves production.
Confidential by default
We don’t sell data, don’t show ads, and never use your materials — pitches, chats, data-room documents — to train models. Chats are private to the matched pair, and passing on someone is never disclosed to them.
When something goes wrong
Every profile and chat has a report action. Reports go to a trained human within 24 hours, and enforcement follows the Community Guidelines. Suspected account compromise? Write to security@aligned.match — a person answers within one business day.
